When people can’t look me in the eyes while I am talking to them, I
obviously assume that they lack some sort of respect. When I am trying
to hold a conversation with someone I expect that they look at me! We
have been told since elementary school that when the teacher is
speaking, the students show he/she that they are not only listening but
also comprehending by making eye contact. Moral of this is to look
others in their eyes when holding a conversation!
